sick and stuff

So we've been sick on and off for 3 weeks. we're finally mostly better. we dumped the home phone, so if you need us, call our cell phones. if you need that number, email me. :)

Alex is a doll!

This morning he walked upstairs and said, "Mom do we need some more honey?" I started to answer and he added, "not the kid kind of honey or the husband kind of honey. The kind that we eat." Now he's walking around showing the honey the house. What a doll!

Daniel's bike

Yesterday we took the training wheels off of Daniel's bike and he rode around a bit! He can do it! Remember he's only 3! I guess that's what you get when you have flat places to practice all of the time. He feels more comfortable with them on, so we put hem back on for now. But he can do it! Enjoy the video.

It's about time! Some news: Alex lost his first tooth, Jenny's got another one loose, Daniel is totally potty trained!! and Becca had rice cereal for the first time tonight. :) I was dizzy sick for about 2 weeks (Lance was too, but a different two weeks), and one Sunday when I was sleeping Lance took a bunch of photos of the kids doing crazy stuff. Hope you enjoy them!

Kitchen is clean until the next meal. Daniel pooped on the potty for the first time ever!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hooray! Laundry is washed but not folded, I slept well last night. (Although that is relative since I was up 2 or 3 times with the baby). I might get these photos downloaded today! More later.

Tired

I'm so tired that I can't see straight. My back is killing me--I really shouldn't EVER give Alex a piggy-back ride, the kitchen is a huge mess because we had to run out the door for Alex's second soccer game right after dinner. I spilled half a pitcher of fruit punch on the floor on the way out the door, and tomorrow is my neighbor's laundry day so I have to get it all done tonight. All of the kids are finally in bed and I had hoped to post some photos, but I haven't downloaded them from the camera, so it's going to have to wait. Jenny & Alex started school last week, Daniel is almost totally potty-trained and Rebecca is smiling and can roll from front to back and sometimes back to front. She's laughed once or twice as well. Lance has almost finished his portfolio, has an application in to work at the Cirque Lodge (he might be overqualified though, because they are looking for master's level), and will be going to CA in October to present at a conference. Our big news is that we're going to visit the Coney's in North Carolina!! The airline tickets were just too cheap to pass up! We're so excited!! Those of you reading this who live in NC and haven't heard from us yet, you'll be hearing from us soon. :) I'm sure the next big trip will be to Orlando to visit our family there!!!!
So there's a bit of what's going on in our lives. I'll try and get some photos up tomorrow. But I'll have to clean the kitchen first. :)

more Becca

She'll be 10 weeks old tomorrow!! And she's already getting to big for her 0-3 month clothes. She was 11 1/2 lbs at her 2 month checkup on the 10th. That's the 60th percentile. Jenny was always in the 5th, so it's nice to have a bigger girl, but she's not as big as Alex was. She and Daniel will be my two average kids. Anyway, here are some pictures. Enjoy.
